This is normally the home page of Penny Turney and the eighth grade
language class at Springville Middle School. For the next few months,
however, this site will serve as a place to connect in planning a reunion
for the Springville High School classes of '82, '83, and '84. If you are a
member of one of these classes, please click on the reunion link.
Dear Old Springville?
I bet many of you are thinking this is a
strange name for a website. Perhaps
you're right, but let me explain. These
words come from the chorus of
Springville's Alma Mater, the school
song. Over the years, I have noticed
that fewer and fewer people know the
words. I love Springville's schools and
am fairly sentimental about the alma
mater. This is simply my way of making
you all a little more familiar with the
words.

In the state of Alabama,
there's a school we love.
It is blessed by God our father
from His throne above.

Dear old Springville,
how we love thee.
We are truly thine.
We will never cease to love thee,
Springville, mother mine.

After us more students follow,
and our places fill.
But our hearts remain for Springville.
We will love thee still.

Dear old Springville,
how we love thee.
We are truly thine.
We will never cease to love thee,
Springville, mother mine.
We are the Tigers!
Tigers are we!
We never lose our "pepability"!
Rah, rah, rah!
You do your best and
we'll do the rest and
fight for a victory!
Rah, rah, rah!
